The start of this supportive space has been a dream of mine for some time, and I am thrilled to finally see it come to be. I am an Atlanta native, wife who married my high shool sweetheart, and mother to a sweet and spunky baby girl. I passionately serve my community as a registered nurse specializing in maternal child health, and a CAPPA ( Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association) childbirth educator.

In my day-to-day work, and in my own life as a mother, I witness the power that is created when women gather to offer love, support, and wisdom to each other. I also see the benefit that comes when new and expectant mothers and families take classes prenatally. It helps to give them the confidence they need to ask questions of their providers and advocate for themselves.

Whether you are newly expecting, newly postpartum, or have been in the mamahood club for some time, it is my hope that Bellies Bitties & Beyond can offer you a source of strength, encouragement, and guidance along the way. Welcome!

  • Co Founder, Community Director

Hey Mommies! I am a proud “boy mom” from Atlanta who thrives on socializing and connecting with fellow moms. I have always been a social butterfly and was labeled the mom friend long before I had children of my own.

Motherhood changed me in the best way and my boys have truly helped me become who I am. My oldest is 17 years older than the youngest, but he loves having a little brother and I love watching him care for his brother.

Breastfeeding my youngest son was challenging, so much so that I decided to write about the journey to encourage other moms. In 2023 i co authored an anthology for mommies called “Words to Her.” The book captures real stories from real ladies on different postpartum topics.

I have relied heavily on my community in an effort to reduce stress and it has been rewarding. Whether I was attending a toddler reading at a local library, attending classes at other social club locations or meeting up with other moms for play dates, every experience provided he with an outlet and helped me to bond with my kids in ways that were fun and educational. My kids benefit by learning to interact with others, meet new children and have fun!

Que and Quad are my world and they keep a smile on my face and joy in my heart. I look forward to the relationships that will be formed through this group and can’t wait to swap stories, experiences, offer support and encouragement as we navigate and celebrate journey of motherhood together!
