Hello Mamas!

The role of being a mother is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding experiences that a woman can have in a lifetime. Everyday, there is a delicate balance between absolute exhaustion, and the excitement of watching our little ones blossom and grow. The mission of Bellies Bitties & Beyond is to have a space both in person and virtual where mothers can meet and socialize, as well as offer resources and information throughout your mamahood journey.

Our Team

Bellies Bitties & Beyond LLC is a company created and operated by longtime friends who have shared in the joys and challenges that being a mother can bring. It is those shared experiences, and the support that came with it where the inspiration for Bellies Bitties & Beyond LLC began.

  • Founder, Owner, Perinatal Class Director/Instructor

The start of this supportive space has been a dream of mine for some time, and I am thrilled to finally see it come to be. I am an Atlanta native, wife who married my high school sweetheart, and mother to a sweet and spunky baby girl. I passionately serve my community as a registered nurse specializing in maternal child health, and a CAPPA ( Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association) childbirth educator.

In my day-to-day work, and in my own life as a mother, I witness the power that is created when women gather to offer love, support, and wisdom to each other. I also see the benefit that comes when new and expectant mothers and families take classes prenatally. It helps to give them the confidence they need to ask questions of their providers and advocate for themselves.

Whether you are newly expecting, newly postpartum, or have been in the mamahood club for some time, it is my hope that Bellies Bitties & Beyond can offer you a source of strength, encouragement, and guidance along the way. Welcome!

  • Co Founder, Community Director

Hey Mommies! I am a proud “boy mom” from Atlanta who thrives on socializing and connecting with fellow moms. I have always been a social butterfly and was labeled the “mom friend” long before I had children of my own.

Motherhood changed me in the best way, and my boys have truly helped me become who I am. My oldest is 17 years older than the youngest, but he loves having a little brother, and I love watching him care for him.

Breastfeeding my youngest son was challenging, so much so that I decided to write about the journey to encourage other moms. In 2023, I co authored an anthology for mommies called “Words to Her.” The book captures real stories from real ladies on different postpartum topics.

I have relied heavily on my community in an effort to reduce stress and it has been rewarding. Whether I was attending a toddler reading at a local library, attending classes at other social clubs or meeting up with other moms for play dates, every experience provided me with an outlet, and helped me to bond with my kids in ways that were fun and educational. My kids benefit by learning to interact with others, meeting new children, and having fun!

Que and Quad are my world and they keep a smile on my face and joy in my heart. I look forward to the relationships that will be formed through Bellies Bitties & Beyond , and can’t wait to swap stories and experiences, and help to offer support and encouragement as we navigate and celebrate the journey of mamahood together!

 Birth and Baby University FAQs

  • Intro to Childbirth, Preparing For Your Hospital Birth, and Bringing Home Baby are aimed to be about 4 hours. The time that the class will take each family is going to greatly depend on how much time you choose to spend on each activity. Our Breastfeeding class is geared to be about 3 hours, this also depends on how much time you spend on each activity.

  • All of our classes are geared towards educating families, although if you are a perinatal professional, you will also find lots of great and helpful information in these classes.

  • Our classes are comprehensive, hands-on, communication and activity-based. They include a helpful and easy-to-implement workbook. Hospital-based classes are larger and typically lecture-style, shorter, non-interactive and not as comprehensive. Our in-person classes are smaller (typically 7-8 couples) which allows for more conversation and activities.

  • Most of our birthing classes are geared for medicated or unmedicated births. The focus is informed decision-making and communication with your partner and healthcare provider. We strongly believe that your options can help you have an improved birth outcome.

  • We highly recommend taking a breastfeeding class if you plan on breastfeeding. Our breastfeeding class comes with a very helpful workbook and is more comprehensive than most hospital-based classes.
